Innocence and Wisdom

Ienzo’s Station of Awakening

Name: Ienzo
Age:Seven
Home world:Radiant Garden
Personality:At the cusp of being both grown and youthful mentally, the child’s thought processes often vary between the wanting to play and be a child his age and an adult pursuing science as a lifestyle. Due to losing his parents when he was five years old, Ienzo is very protective of anyone he does call family. (Which, admittedly is larger than what people might expect, but they’re the ones who’ve gotten him to open up the most). Despite his staggering mental strengths, Ienzo’s also got a poor concept of danger and how to stay out of it. With a smart mouth and no warning sensor, he often gets himself into more trouble than he likely should. And gets into places he really shouldn’t. But his loyalty to his closest people and devotion to his task shine through no matter what he does.

(those who are and remain the closest to him)

Nero: Ienzo has recovered from Nero’s disappearance, though the man’s influence will have always a mark on him, despite no longer being around to guide Ienzo. Instead, Ienzo is determined to grow strong to be someone who can rise above what Nero’s abandonment did— though a part of him still loves his brother deeply. He just could never trust him again after this.

Nepeta: While Sollux is Ienzo’s patron troll and a great friend towards the youth of the castle, Nepeta is someone else greatly dear to him as well. After somehow being adopted as her ‘wriggler’, he’s spent quite a bit of time in the female troll’s company—also having helped her recover from her injuries from an Eridan. He’s lost a great deal of his fear towards cats thanks to this catlike troll. And he’s grateful beyond belief towards her for it. Currently considers her his lusus-mama, though his fear of abandonment doesn’t let him admit this often.

Saix: Axel’s lover/friend and another of the people Ienzo calls ‘brother’. Ienzo hasn’t gotten as outwardly close to Saix like  he’s gotten to his other siblings, but the love is still there. He also frequently climbs on Saix like a jungle gym. Still, the protective hugs and affection seem  to be there and Ienzo wishes he could do something to help the Nobody of one of his few friends who live in Radiant Garden. He’ll figure it out.  Eventually.

Sollux:Ienzo’s patron troll and a close and dear friend of his, this troll took it upon himself to remove Ienzo from Radiant Garden for a while so he could recover from losing Nero in an environment where there was nothing to trigger his memories with. He’s indebted to Sollux and adores him, especially when Sollux allowed the boy to cling to him on the nights his grief overtook him. Also the food he gave Ienzo on Alternia was something he became quite fond of.

Weiss: Nero’s biological brother and the one who took Ienzo in as a sibling when the two met and quickly became close over a cup of hot chocolate. Ienzo hasn’t spent as much time around Weiss as he has the others, but the  two are somewhat bonded from their shared connections to Nero. Ienzo wants to spend more time around him and get to  know him. But he already gets why Nero would be such a devoted sibling to Weiss.

KadajIenzo’s biological ‘brother’ of sorts, found when Ienzo and Kadaj tested the former’s blood and found the presence of Jenova cells in his body. Though while Ienzo doesn’t know the exact relation between the two (meaning he doesn’t know his relation to Hojo), he still happily cares for his brother— though again, fear of losing Kadaj has made him a bit wary to open up fully. Still, he’s happy that the Remnant is patient with him.

NAnother Side: His alternate persona, Zakath’, brought about by the incidents involving the Cheshire Cat and the resulting people talking to him afterwards. Zakath is a figure of mystery and intrigue, having only been dominant twice in his ‘existence’ but always commenting on something in Ienzo’s mind. Unlike Ienzo, he’s stoic and serious but also naïve in how his friends would react. He has his ideals on how people might react and that throws him off when they don’t act as he thinks they would. In addition, Zakath is unable to wield the Keyblade. Instead, he’s the adept at illusions, being the one who is a master of deception and masquerading as his other self.
Zakath’s hair and eye color are the same shades as his and Ienzo’s older self—the Nobody for whom the persona was named—and he has a penchant to wear more black, as befitting his other self.
Amoral and nearly unfeeling, the only thing Zakath cares about is an outcome. For good or for ill. Just so long as he survives.
